The Great Neck Library is considering a landscaping/play area project for the Main Library, partially funded by the estate of Ann Hyde, who earmarked $655,000 for a children’s project.

Project Updates

The Interactive Children’s Garden feature of the Main Library landscaping project was approved by the Library Board in February. Final plans have been submitted for permits, and requests for proposals for masonry, carpentry, planting, and lighting are being reviewed prior to distribution for bidding. Final plans for the landscape and garden have been submitted.
