How to Reserve an Item

Log into your library account by entering your name and library card number in the text boxes. When entering your library card number, enter all the numbers without spaces and click Submit.
From your login screen, enter the title of the item you wish to locate. You can also search by author and subject by clicking the arrow next to the word keyword. Searching by keyword gives users a better chance of having a successful search than searching by title alone.

If there are multiple hits on your search, a browse list will display giving you the option to request the specific item you want by clicking the request button. If you plan to request more than this item, click the specific title, then click Add to Book Cart and the item will be put into your Book Cart. When you have finished searching for all your items you will be able to request them all at one time.

Once you have searched for all your items, you can view the items in your Book Cart by clicking View Saved.
You can request all the items in your bookcart by clicking the Select All Button. You can also remove items from your book Cart by clicking the box next to the items you wish to delete and clicking Delete Selected.

You will then be asked where you want to pick up your material when they are ready for you. Choose your pickup location from the dropdown menu, then confirm the items you are requesting by clicking the Request Box. A confirmation screen will display indicating a successful request.

After you have finished, remember to Logout.
How to Reserve an Item Without Logging in First

Search for a library item in the catalog. Then, click the Place Hold button next to the item that you want. Reference items and periodicals cannot be placed on hold.
The Request Verification page will display. Enter your name, library card number, and select a pickup location from the dropdown menu. You may also enter a Cancel If Not Filled By Date if necessary. Otherwise, click Submit.

If your hold was placed successfully, you will get a confirmation message that includes the Hold Pickup Location.
Click Start Over to continue searching or click Regular Display to return to your search results.
Reserving Items from Your Book Cart

Putting your requests in a book cart allows you to save multiple items efficiently, as you will have to enter your personal information one time.
Begin by searching for a title in the catalog.

When you find the title you are looking for and all copies are checked out, click Book Cart.
You can export or place holds on items in your book cart. Book cart items can be saved.

Click on Select All if you want to request all the items in your book cart. Then click Request to place items in your book cart on hold.

Enter your name, library card number and pickup location. If appropriate, you may enter a cancel date and click Select All.

A confirmation screen will display.
Click Done, and Log Out of your record when finished.
